It's a very good thing actually, rather than getting depressed by usual stuff that happens around Pakistan, people should organize events that put smile of others faces.

It has nothing to do with our faith and culture and it has its origin in ancient pagans of british isles. i find many better ways of enjoying and having fun than playing tricks or paint mages of bats, cats on faces etc but well thats my personal opinion
