I didn't know that US equipment used Chinese electronics

It is not because the US DoD contacted Chinese electronics manufacturers and specified our orders. It is because US hardware manufacturers, either through incompetence or neglect, did not exercise due diligence in investigating their sources and the result is the infection of Chinese electronic crap in the DoD chain of suppliers. The Chinese fraudulent electronics hardware problem is so widespread that it contaminated the entire electronics market...

And the Chinese are proud of it...

If Iranians, or Pakistanis for that matter, were asked the same question, I have an inkling more than half those voters would want to bomb the US. Why do we insist on holding the Americans to a higher moral standard than us. Do you expect more from your next door neighbor or the guy you work with than you do from yourself? Such a flawed concept.

The one thing people should understand about general population polls and polling is that they are essentially a snapshot in time of raw populist emotions and opinions, which we know can and do change with time and information. In 99.999% of the time, polls should never be taken as an indicator of persistent attitude. That is why foreign policies should never be based upon populist polls because foreign relationships are long term and often with considerations for changes of leaderships, sometimes violently, sometimes peacefully. The general population of any country are usually inadequately informed (not completely ignorant) of other cultures and politics. Foreign policies based upon this are dangerous.

What I am surprised at is that everyone else seems to be surprised by this poll.

Iran is a peace loving country that has not invaded anyone in the last 200 years.

American on the other hand has been at war for about 90% of the last 200 years.
America needs war to fuel its military industrial complex and so they need to carefully create propaganda against a target (preferably brown people) and then start a war with them. Happened in the Spanish American war, The Indian wars, Vietnam, Iraq, etc.

this is the first time i agree with a pakistani, war on iran is totally useless, iran has been a very responsible country......it seems to be that US is doing this to support SA in its rivalry against iran.....

If you ask any american general questions about world and other countries, their cultures they have information none and mostly are dump in general knowledge that is my personal experience working with them........and that's reason the media controlled the public's mind in US that is fully controlled by Jews and CIA. They create war hestaria in them....and then do polls and show the polls according to their use..............this was what happened when they attack on IRAQ they were saying there are Bio Chemical Weapons......and after killing 1 million peoples in Iraq ******* Bush just said ........."I am sorry our intelligent information was wrong we couldn't find any bio chemical weapon in Iraq.".

So USA fighting Iran alone ? Or will NATO go in ? not to mention holding a country 3 times bigger then Iraq and 70 million population even if they don't like their current government they will fight the USA ? what about Hezbollah ? you will need to take them out as well if you fight Iran. what if Iran closes the strait of hormuz ? either way it will be interesting to see what happens.
