Indian external affairs minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar on Tuesday "requested" Bangladesh to utilise a line of credit extended by India for purchasing military equipment.

He made the request in a meeting with his Bangladesh counterpart AK Abdul Momen in Dhaka 2019...

The MoU was signed during prime minister Sheikh Hasina’s visit to India in April 2017 on the $500 million Indian loan for buying military equipment under suppliers credit system....

What these Indian trolls in PDF don't get is that we understand the 'Line of credit' from India as a way to counter Chinese influence, and we won't be anyone's bogey anymore. That ship has sailed.

As far as I know, a borrower goes to a bank and begs it to lend money. In the case of India, it is India that is begging BD to borrow money to buy its outdated equipment.
