By the way, just curious, why in Pakistan among my certain friends who drink whiskey, is more popular than Beer or Vodka?? Why is that, is it taste or something popular among Pakistani locals?

Someone really mis-calculated.

Again, it’s a colonial legacy. Whiskey was used by the British officer class to relax after a days work & that too in the confines of their residences. it got picked up by the Brown sahibs. Where as Beer was & is still consumed by the working class at pubs.
