Couldnt be, because till 2009, Pakistan's official stand had been that no Pakistani soldier had been involved in the Kargil war (though Musharraf did let the cat out of the bag in his memoirs in 2006).. Its only in 2009, that the names of Kargil martyrs were listed on the Pakistani army web site.. As a matter of fact the Indian officer who recommended him for nishan-e-haider was first told that since no Pakistani soldier was involved in the battle, there is no question of a gallantry award...
I just gave u a link from 2006.Calling him a Martyred (NH)... at the time of kargil i was just 9 years old .. so i dnt have the exact date of it all...
