Depending on the needs of developing technology, STM and GÜRBAĞ signed a cooperation in the field of "Hydrogen Energy and Propulsion Solutions" and "Stabilized Pan-Tilt and Laser Communication Solutions". The two companies will implement R&D, productization and field application in the fields of cooperation. Turkey's largest military maritime company STM, in cooperation with GÜRBAĞ; It aims to increase the energy efficiency of power systems by integrating into surface and underwater platforms. STM and GÜRBAĞ; It aims to provide secure communication between submarines, surface ships, air and land platforms with laser communication technology that cannot be listened, predicted and jammed.

Laser communication? Is that even possible

its seems like Turkey is not just working on hardware and shells of systems

they are actively working on software, electronics and next generation systems like Railgun and Lasers

by 2030 I think Turkey will match any European supplier in almost all fields of military equipment

this includes France and UK

this includes France and UK
2030 is an optimistic forecast. The meaning of 2030s for us is that the military and aviation industries will close the infrastructure deficiencies on the way to full independence. Our main goal is to be a 'balancing factor' on a global scale in terms of soft power and as military/aerospace tech provider until 2050s.

I agree with you. The hard part will begin once the urgent need projects are over, including Altay, TF-2000, Siper and TFX.

In other words, to establish world-class institutes in basic sciences and to produce qualified science and patents.

Permanent success in any subject cannot be achieved without mastering the basic sciences.

max 2035 , but not 2050
2050 is a pessimistic forecast

what about the UK and France now ?
Fighter Jet with turbofan engine , Submarine , Destroyer , Aircraft Carrier and Air Defense Systems

Turkey also will have its own Fighter Jet with turbofan engine , Submarine , Destroyer , Aircraft Carrier and Air Defense Systems until 2035

ARMY
except ALTAY Tank with turbodiesel engine , now almost all weapons are indigenous for the Army ( 100% ALTAY Tank with turbodiesel engine will be ready in the near future )

NAVY
as of 2022 Turkey has its own naval industry ( FAC , Patrol Boat , LCT , LST , Corvette , Frigate )
Super Tanker , LHD are coming . TF-2000 Destroyer by 2027 , MILDEN AIP Submarine by 2032 and Aircraft Carrier

of course all Missiles , Torpedos and Guns , AESA Radars , CM System , EW Systems , Sonar , VLS , etc will be indigenous for the naval platforms in the next 3-5 years

AIR FORCE
The most critical part to become global military/aerospace tech provider in 2035
today Turkey is UCAV power and one of top 3 countries in the world. also supersonic UCAV like MIUS is coming
HURKUŞ and HURJET will give strength to Turkey in the field of trainer and light attack aircraft
T-129 , T-929 , T-625 and T-925 will give strength to Turkey in the field of Attack/Utility
Helicopters

Advanced EW Systems such as KORAL , REDET , SPEWS-II , HAVASOJ
Air Defense Systems such as HISAR , SIPER and GUMS
Satellites and SLV technologies
GaN based AESA Radars , Avionics and E/O Systems
All Missiles and Bombs

We need only MMU Fighter Jet project with turbofan engine to make Turkey to become global military/aerospace tech provider in 2035

until 2035 all those weapons/systems will be in service for the Turkish Armed Forces
that means also to be ready for export to dozens of countries in the world to match with the UK and France
