US has multiple severe issues:

1. Depolitization (lack of trust in politics)
2. Declining in the number of secure, manufacturing jobs
3. Global militarism, which reflects on internal politics and social relations

I wonder how they will cure these serious ills? If they think by being aggressive and starting wars in other places will somehow cover their internal fault lines and corrosions, they will be disillusioned.

Trump may be their curse. But he may be their last chance because he made more clear all the long-existing systemic problems.
