i am presently working in .NET but i want to switch in iphone programming as i have heard that its has good future with salary too particularly mobile phone programming.so what u say??

for this i am thinking to go as trainee.so should i do this or not??i have 1 year experience in .NET.
and i am planning for H1B visa too after 1 year.So guide me yaaro...

Switch to PHP and then Ruby on Rails. If you have worked with any frameworks with .net, cake php and rails should be a breeze. You can build iPhone web apps that use java script or libs like sencha. You can use phone gap that can convert such apps to native apps. I recommend this since you can get a very good job with just RoR. Learn objective C later since most of atleast my clients just want their websites viewed as an App. Ofcourse, Objective C wil be your weekend job. Welcome to my world

BRO you will have to switch to Java platform for this one. I am working on IDM technology and Java at back-end. I have got a lot of calls for android applications but wanna get stick to IDM. Java is must!!!! 1 year is not a big deal as you have just started your career and won't take for you to know about java if you have already worked on C#.

bhai saab,i have done core java earlier but later on switched to .net with c#..now i have forgotten it...

but i think iphone programming is different one so m asking should i switch or not??

Bhai,,, it is just like Boxing world champ bhe banna hai or pitai se bhe darr lagta hai

You will have to be passionate to go ahead,,,,, you will have to work hard for atleast 1 and a half year atleast to get some mature in writing code in java...... Only getting familiar with some syntax with core java won't work itself..... need to get aware of collections, hibernate, struts/spring etc for that..... Rest of all it depends on your effort and perception power

i dont have interst in java.but i m looking to go in iphone programming..is java necessary for it??no..i dont think so.
do u know about the future in iphone prog?? is it better than .NET which m presently doing.

Bro,, you will have to get into java anyhow,,,,, whatever tool you will be using,,, but java would be there!!!!!
1st future is fine as smartphones and ipads are the new gen electronics gadgets....
2nd java has much more scope then .net because of platform independent(h/w and s/w)
Above all,,,,, today is an era of domain specific persons,,,,,,,, you are on the learning phase,,,, just make a target and hunt for that,,,,, thats it buddy.......

My Advice : Go back to college and do Civil Engineering, if tomorrow a nuke apocalypse happen and there be no computer but there will always be demand to make roads and cities.
