All PAF needs to do is parade all of its twin seaters for a pic or video which would be really embarrassing for India. Why would they do that? -- they had once done that for a larger fleet (Mirages?). The dual seater F-16s would not be too many. This matter would be easily settled!

Just mind boggling as to why the Indian govt brings up the embarrassing events of Feb. 27, 2019 to the front by awarding Abhinandan. Not only that incident was an embarrassment for India but the claim of 'killing 300 terrorists' two days prior to that was also an outrageous lie. Those incidents were better left alone. They were not some strategic losses for India--a mere pinprick for a large, well alarmed country like India. As for the Pakistani claim of another Indian plane shot down, that's not significant. Either due to the fog of war or the fact that an Indian helicopter was also shot down (friendly fire) around the time the Indian fighter jet was shot down, makes it very likely a mistaken claim by Pakistan--a claim made within hours of the skirmish on 27 February thus increasing chances of a mistaken claim. So Pakistan's version of the events doesn't get diluted from the wrong claim of a second Indian aircraft shot down.

Whatever faults Pakistan has, such major strikes inside Pakistan like shooting down of an F-16 or the deaths of 300 inside Pakistan could never be hidden. Only a country like North Korea is capable of such kind of coverups like for the 300 deaths inside Pakistan. <SMH>.

One of the most ridiculous things I have seen in years!!!!! OMG! There must be a lot of truth in Indians living in some fantasy land. An Oz. A made-up Bollywood world! A parallel universe. Decades ago, India shot down a Pakistani plane near the India-Pakistan border. Atlantis from Pakistan Navy? Several people were killed. IAF pilot and Group Captain Abhinandan Varthaman, who was arrested in 2019 by Pakistani forces after his MiG 21 aircraft was shot down by Pakistan Air Force (PAF), was awarded the Vir Chakra, the third-highest Indian military honour during wartime.

As per the Indian media, Abhinandan has been bestowed with the honour of "shooting down a Pakistani F-16 plane during the February 2019 dogfight".

The Vir Chakra award to Abhinandan was announced in August 2019 but was awarded today in the presence of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the country's Defence Minister Rajnath Singh.

what can you expect from a country denying their prisoner of war playing Simon says with photo evidence. If they can deny with such evidence, they can deny anything and everything. They are just not honest people in general. Anyone with integrity have left already.

The MKI as a fleet is still in production or can be or can be ordered (is ordered?) and that question would always remain if one was replaced. For PAF that is not an option. They cannot replace an F-16 easily.
