Considering that the lower half of European Union has completely collapsed, (just check the news one after another on European countries' economies), I wonder why did the Ukrainians go potty on joining the EU.

Yanukovych made a sensible decision and was about to secure Ukraine's future and energy security. Now all that has gone down the gutter.

Greek society is getting a lot of pressury put on. It already broke Greek national cohesion. If they exit the euro zone I'm afraid a civil war will brake out and disintegration of the country. If Greece gets out of eurozone nobody will aid them, provide loans, development and investment. For Greece the best would be to ride it out but I'm afraid Greeks don't have that discipline and forsight and Turkey will have another Syria on her border. We probably could protect and aid the muslim areas in east-Greece but the remaining will have to figure out themselves how to survive.

I didn't talk about attacking Greece. Why would we feed that many mouths. Let the Germans do that. I only care about the Albanians and Balkan Turks in Greece. We will protect them in case of civil war.

Fixed that for you. The EU "aids" are a scam because they are all loans with strings like higher taxes, austerity or "free market" for foreign goods attached.

It is better if Greece just default and exit the Eurozone because no one will invest in their country when it has all those EU bailout loans weighing it down. Who would invest there when they known sooner or later the country would have to raise tax on everything or implement extreme (riot provoking) austerity measures just to pay off EU loans.

Loans are not for free. Everybody outside of the kindergarden knows that but apparently some think they are a special snow flake.

If you want a morgage for your house for example, you pay! If you can't afford your morgage, you work more, you spend less. If you can't afford it, you get the feck out of the house you can't afford.

Same way, Greece shouldn't take loans it can't afford. Nobody is forcing them. They f-ed up their budget. Not Germans.

If Greece steps outside of eurozone, their living standards will go down to Romania's. Please go ahead. I'm not stopping Greeks.

No, it wouldn't go against NATO charters. Turkey and Greece have signed treaty that defined the borders. Turkey has protector status for the Muslims in east-Greece. If Greece brakes into civil war, which is inevitable when they get kicked out of eurozone, and central government looses control and can't protect their minorities, we will have to do something.
