govt. is stupid,, it is filling pockets of corrupts rather than removing them.

isko pyaar say kahtay hain "KUTA PANA" after 5 years this ***ing govt releases six billion when the WHOLE Railway dept is DESTROYED!

all i can say is that 80 rail engines in a country of 180 million is not something good. people prolly have to wait months to meet their relatives in other cities. economic transportation is halted. pakianis should not come to bash india on povery and economy when pakistanis cant even sustain the very basic premature thing like railways, without which no country can grow.

The money going in railway department must be properly monitored and initiative to corruption should be stoped , it is valid for Pakistan as well as India .

you do know that there are other cheaper ways to travel right?

Congrats to the Pakistani Railway Board, I hope that they use the money wisely and develop a good transportation network that reaches all North East South and West.
Hope that this money does not end up in corrupt politicians and buracrats pockets

not everyone in pakistan owns a car right?? it has one of the most under developed auto industry in the world too.. most cars in pakistan are imported and high duties are imposed leading to extremely high costs of cars. this sitauation is completely opposite from india.

anyways best of luck to pakistani rails, india willl be ready to help when asked.

dont forget bus services (which are much much cheaper thn train tickets) that run throughout the country and that business is seeing lots of profit specially these days because of railway crises, even the airlines have clashed their fares by almost half, anyways, thanks

Most people in Pakistan don't even need to use the railways because the highway system is extremely good, so there are numerous bus services (like you pointed out).

What ? Bus fares cheaper than railways ? Here in India bus tickets are thrice as costly as railway tickets ! Maybe your railways are really in shambles !:hang2:
