People here giving benefit of doubt to Sharif as if he is a first time PM and we dont know Sharifs have done their politics. Sharif is in politics since 1985. This has been their standard practice. Make compromises and concessions where its expedient. Give some money (not from their pocket of course) and get some more in return.

May be some of you wont believe Imran. But I trust him. For he is an honest man and never lied. This can never said of Sharif and his family.

Knowing how high stakes are in Panama case, I m surprised why the offer was made so late. Not surprised that offer was made.

Seems like common sense does not exist in Pakistanis. That is why educated people have such shallow views regarding corruption.

Corruption is not Imran issue. It is Pakistan issue. Corruption free country is not utopia either. Here in West, the government and its departments are not corrupt. No PM here has foreign wealth. Their children go to same school as ours. They buy their food from same grocery stores as ours. No city or street is shut down when PM is in town. This is because these societies are corruption free and that is why these countries are so strong.

We are a beggar nation and will remain a beggar if people who can think, if people who are most educated among us will support a corrupt decadent system just because these corrupt leaders seem to have done some work in my city or street. We forget that their corrupt practices are drowning us in debt while their commissions and kickbacks are being deposited in foreign banks.
