Govt decides to expand Pak missile program
Missils are the cheapest and most potent way to respond. Paksitans' missiles can carry nuclear and conventional war heads and just by keeping and deploying them in large numbers, we will have enough counter threat for India to stay nice. Pakistan is also implementing MIRVs and the moment we deploy them, missile defense shild of India will be ineffective and Pakistan will have lot more chances to hit India even if defensive missiles have intercepted.
I have also come to know that Pakistan's Shaheen and Ghouri have built in mechanism using which missiles change their path during the flight and make it even more difficult to predict and launch defensive missiles at it. So both these factors make Paksitan's missiles even a greater counter threat for any wishful attacker.
The best part about missiles is that they are quick and a huge attack could be launched within 30 minutes or so. That means the first punch will be severe enough and neutralize a lot of potential of enemy within hours of any initiated war.
And last, but not least, they are cheaper to maintain and use as compared to Aircraft and could be carried anywhere and re-located within short periods of time. Pakistan produces all the missiles it uses indigenously and is self-sufficient in producing them in any number it wants. So all in all, its a very good decision and we should focus more on missiles then inducing 4.5 and 5th gen fighters at now.
