Govt, Army on same page: DG ISPR

.
imo I doubt the Chinese government ever liked NS due to his shear incompetence

but its possible that they are not particularly fond of Imran Khan due to his desire for transparency (doubt Chinese government rolls like that) and reduction in debt/anti slave mentality

I do believe they prefer IK, and it is very clear he is pro china, I assume he sees the bigger picture in all this

but then again what do I know

Logic right here folks. I hope you are braced for the attack by PTI fans now.

Ah! For some reason a story came to my mind after reading your comment, though it may not sound directly related to what you have said. When Napoleon became the ruler he marched through the streets. People gathered, cheered and waved at him. But Napoleon's demeanor remained somber. Seeing this one of his companion officers asked Napoleon why does he not wave back to people? To this Napoleon replied that today they have gathered to cheer me on my rise & tomorrow they will gather to cheer as I am taken to gallows. Just a story I thought to share. If anyone wants to extract any meaning from this it's purely their own interpretation.

I have seen people who are opposed to PML-N concede that Ishaq Dar is one of the best persons for the finance ministry

Man you surely need to see an Optometrist. I can refer to you some good ones in Pakistan.

on the other hand id say Ch Nisar as a good Administrator. Khwaja saad rafique did a good job but was only temporary, there was time i travelled from Lahore to Multan in Railway and it was full of bed bugs.

govt, army on the same page.... the greatest things that irks our enemies both external and internal.

everybody in this thread is an expert on national politics

This is a sign of a real democratic country, especially where people have use their brain, take and say things differently. Its actually a positive thing about your country that people believe, say, think independently rather a dumb fucking gullible nation like your all neighbors from North to west. One of your neighbor where a citizen of the state doesn't have such a level of independence to say anything about their respective Govt (China). One of your eastern neighbor who turned into a jingoist tabar in these last 5 years where you have only one way to express your feelings if you agree to the Govt agenda else you will be declared as anti-national even their Supreme Court is busy in making "shining shit" with their so-called independent decisions about and for the minorities and J&K. One of your neighbor where people living without google, social media, in fact, they're completely cut-off from the world and we don't know whether they have any idea about what is happening around them and at last one of your neighborhood where people under highly influenced because of wars or whatever the reason, who has no perspective rather just towing the line of western countries propaganda or your eastern neighbor agendas. Trust me your people have different voices and they're fully allowed to express whatever they think.....

Let me just give a disclaimer for my below comment. I am not a PML-N/NS supporter. Quite the contrary actually. I would define my self as a apolitical-centralist. Bellow comments are also word of mouth from others that I came to hear.

Barring the corruption charges, what I have heard is that NS is not as pandoo or incompetent as you believe him to be. He has on several occasions attempted to be hands-on with things and has sought accountability of national institutions, which didn't go down well the corridors of our state system. In the end, he ended up on the receiving end of the accountability instead of the giving end. He definitely made some enemies in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Anyway, someone from FBR once mentioned in my presence that they collected record revenue during NS's PMship. His railway minister Khwaja Saad Rafique did a pretty good job in reviving the railway. Previously, Bilour had almost wiped the railway out not just financially but administratively also. Similarly, someone from PSO once mentioned in my presence that 'say what you will about him as a person but Ch. Nisar is actually a very good administrator (he was minister for petroleum 1997-1999).' I have seen people who are opposed to PML-N concede that Ishaq Dar is one of the best persons for the finance ministry. As for IK and his team, well, you can see the revenue, currency value, and railway management by yourself. There are things about NS that don't come up on media. I think the Chinese probably prefered him because a) he commanded popular support and b) he had better business acumen and team then others.

Don't take this the wrong way, but your post is inherently biased. So you cannot take a "disclaimer" on this.
When something looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it is a DUCK ...... you cannot claim that it is not. NS is a corruption king, so is his family , and no amount of diversion of facts can change this ground reality.

I won't take it the wrong way but I very much can take a disclaimer on this. I did say "barring the corruption charges," implying that NS' corruption was not the focus of the comment. I merely intended to point out that coins have two sides, head and tail, and NS was not a complete khoota sika as most believe him to be. In fact, none of the civilian rulers have been. Though their financial, moral, ethical, political, and constitutional corruption and administrative incompetency does heavily outweigh their right doings.

. . . .
I have a take on this situation which is far more grave then anything else.

IK is despised by the "international establishment". There are no two ways about it. Specially after his UN speech, I think gloves have come off.

Most worrying thing that the international establishment managed to get their man, the traitor Nawaz Shareef out of Pakistan at the expense of their nemesis Imran Khan. Top that, the Pakistan establishment is playing along with the international establishment in this cruel joke with Pakistani citizens. Infact I will go all the way to the last election where IK was not allowed the majority and carefully manipulation of results means that he will be a lame duck PM. Let me remind all, on how Nawaz Shareef was "given" absolute majority twice by establishment in past.

There are more deeper problems in Pakistan then some haramkoor judges in LHC. And this time, citizens of Pakistan need to start looking deeper and unearth the real faces behind all these plots who ensure that Pakistan remain chained and doesn't become the power I was meant to be.
