Governor Sindh ready to resign: sources

KARACHI: Governor Sindh Dr Ishratul Ibad Khan has got his resignation ready and is expected to give it to President Asif Ali Zardari, Geo News reported Sunday.
President Asif Ali Zardari has called Governor Sindh Dr Ishratul Ibad Khan to mull over the recent spate of target killings and the resultant situation in the city.
The sources said the Sindh Governor is expected to tender his resignation to the president Zardari in a cruch meeting held in emergency.
The sources said the Dr Ishratul Ibad talked to Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani and apprised him about the partys reservations and discussed various issues in this regard.
The meetings of MQMs Rabta Committee is simultaneously underway in London and Karachi to mull over the violent situation in Karachi, which has left at least 25 people in a matter of only 24 hours.
The Committee expressed reservations over the conduct of the government.
