ISLAMABAD: The government has formed a new committee to hold talks with the Tehrik-e-Taliban in a bid to restore peace in the country, sources said.
According to sources, Secretary Ports and Shipping Habibullah Khattak would lead the government’s peace committee.
Rustam Shah Mohmand has retained his place in the committee while other members included Additional Secretary FATA Arbab Arif and the prime minister’s additional secretary Fawad Hassan Fawad, the sources said.
