The fact is they did not allow it in their government. Also, when everybody plays caste and communal cards, values take a back seat. In my opinion, the congress has been very smart in playing reservation cards such as jat and muslim reservations which got rejected by the court. It served them right that people also rejected them. We all know what a manifesto and sub manifesto means. I dont think its possible to implement religion based reservation without amending the constitution, nor i feel its right. Even Mandal commission was neither commissioned nor implemented by the congress governments. It was done by the govts. that had the backing of the BJP.

Ok .Right wing groups also gets foreign fund from abroad.But how much they can do that ? AFAIK there is no other nation in this world having majority rich Hindus with an official religion.


But you cant say that about Arabs (sinking in oil money ) and rich West.Right ?
Recently a pastor in my state faced a legal action because of illegal trabnsaction of money .He has arouns 1000 crore of assets and accounts in Swiss banks .All these have only one purpose.Conversion .

At any case VHP dont have 1000 crore assets.Some particular cases are Mata Amrithanda Mayi Devi but they dont have any religious conversion tactics.

I agree with you.SC/ST will get privileges without any religion problem.
But the day when they get the official approval they will try for mass conversion.

Foreign Funding is not just restricted to churches and Madrasas. VHP and other Hindu and Sikh organizations also receive huge sums from abroad and so also the political parties. All are indulging in corrupt practices so why blame only christians and muslims? No political party has either taxed or stopped or effectively regulate the flow of foreign funds because the biggest gainers are political parties.

It won't affect much actually...Many even after convert to Christianity don't change their name or religion in government records like their SSLC certificates,ration/election IDs..They are still Hindus as per government and enjoying all other reservation benefits...Personally know many such cases in my locality..Missionary brains are miles ahead nowadays...

I hope govt. soon bans religious conversions.

Lastly I saw govt banned 69 NGOs from taking foreign funds. I hope govt. checks each and every NGO, and if there is any discrepancy in its funding, it should be shut down.

With BJP in power hopefully things will improve from now on.

I ask everyone not to vote for AAP. Kejriwal is a lier and a fraud. He is a chameleon. Delhi did a lot of disservice to our country by voting for AAP. I hope they dont vote for him ever again. I urge anyone from Punjab here not to cast a single vote to AAP.

Not really strange. The person can argue that it was his father who was responsible for conversion & if he was a minor, he could then apply to reverse that.

That's not supported by logic. On what basis is ghar wapsi illegal? The law allows for conversion & there is no bar on Hindu groups doing it.

Can't be done. Constitutionally not possible, infringes on fundamental rights. Conversions can be regulated however & proselytizing rules made more tough.

Please get yourself more educated about the SC/ST. While SCs belong only to Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikkhism the ST status is given based on their tribal upbringing. An ST could be a hindu or Christian or a muslim or of any other religion.

This is an important and a very good decision by the Government of India. Those who converts from SCs to a religion without caste system have no rights to demand the same reservation and benefits like before.
