Haier Pakistan is just a subsidiary of Haier and not entirely owned by Haier itself but a joint venture with majority share 70% approx belonging to Ruba SEZ group a Pakistan based investment group. So yeah a portion of profits most definitely gets diverted to china but not entirely.

For those who lack basic economic understanding. Foreign companies manufacturing products and subsequent export results in creation of jobs and revenue for the local economy as well as forex earnings.
E.g. China manufacturing iPhones benefits Chinese economy irrespective of parent company is based in US.

Regarding sales proceeds, no they are not bound to bring back profit. But they will bring back manufacturing cost and pay their employees otherwise the factory will shut down.
