Gorkhaland supporters hold protest in Hague

The Gorkhaland supporter in The Netherlands have staged demonstrations in front of the Embassy in Hague, supporting the cause for Gorkhaland state in India.

According to the statement forwarded to BNN, the supporters said they condemn the ‘blatant violations of human rights in Darjeeling’ where Gorkhas are currently demonstrating demanding a separate Gorkhaland state.

The Gorkhaland supporters also submitted a memorandum to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi through the embassy asking that the Indian security forces stop atrocities against the Gorkhaland demonstrators, condemning the deaths and restriction of internet access to hills people.

While peaceful demonstrators in Darjeeling are being killed and injured, alleged to be terrorists, the West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Benerjee was in Hague to attend a UN human rights meeting.

They are not asking for separate country Mr. Genius, they are merely protesting for their separate state aka Gorkhaland within Indian union. Moreover it is all happening with the blessings from the
union government/BJP. Everything is well under control of the central government, if you may not know. LOL

We have seen similar agitations in the past as well, especially the recent Telangana. Did you happen to see a separate Telangana country ????

Buggers.. they think Gorkhas are fighting for a separate country. little they know that they are fighting for a separate state inside India ... the only thing that will happen is that the state of Bengal will get split into two. one will stay Bengal.. the other will become Gorkha land... a 30th state of India.
