GoP releases a two year perfomance report

The report is titled "Promise, Policy, Performance: Two Years of People's Government 2008-2010 Report" (Note the PPP in the name). Of course this isn't an objective economic, social or political analysis; rather a glorified government and party praise report. Slandering of the previous regime is spread throughout, self glorification prominent and it even has at the end the pictures of all ministers from the ginormous cabinet.This does not make any less worth reading though.

It is available on the MoIB website, but the bandwidth is limited and takes ages to download hence I uploaded it to scribd.

Thanks Sparklingway its a long report having 170 pages in total. I have downloaded from the official source and will try to read as much as i can

Overall i am satisfied with government's political decision i.e. Freedom of judiciary, consensus on dams, renaming of NWFP, military bases in Swat, actions on SWAT and Waziristan but i am very much disappointed with its economic policies.

To make it reliable i would prefer to have independent audit on GoP to show how far the taxes has been increase, daily utility prices gain, how much Rupee has lost its value and people paid the price for same, how many corruption done by ministers, how Assembly members toke the loan and clear without paying it, how much money Government toke from Banks, and what was previous ration, and last not the least, how many unacceptable agreements done by GoP with foreigners, related to drone attacks, selling government property cheaper, allowing black water and other agencies to work without enforcement inside pakistan, etc
