I don't know from where you are getting your facts, but your claims are just baseless. If you read any article in English written by Chinese, unless he refers to some foreign groups, you won't find the word "Maoism" in it.
Xi Jinping has explained the connections between Maoism and socialism with Chinese characteristics, the concept put forward by Deng in the early 1980's.
Do yourself a favor. Search the word "Maoism" on the above page.I don't know from where you are getting your facts, but your claims are just baseless.
I can refute what you said above with a "source". Below is the article from chinese governments mouth piece itself written by none other than its editor.
Xi Jinping himself explained the connections between Maoism and socialism, and the concept of maoism was put forward by Deng Xiaoping.
Party newspaper praises Mao's role ahead of 120th birthday - Xinhua | English.news.cn
OK. there is that one article but it still refutes your point that no Chinese writer uses the term "Maosim". Also there are other Chinese news agencies which also use it.Do yourself a favor. Search the word "Maoism" on the above page.
Maoism is the Chinese version of communism. You know the PRC/Soviet split.
this is Maosim
It's not about demolishing the statue of Mao but rather the hidden underlying tone. Common Chinese people can bring down the CPC if they are dissatisfy with them.
[/USER] @cnleio Do you guys agree?
Good find. I guess some Chinese are more under the influence of the western media nowadays. When I lived there, the phrase that referred to Mao's thoughts was simply "Mao Zedong Thought". It was never "ism"ized and never intended to be. It is more like an amendment to communism than a separate philosophy. I guess the laziness of west media and its desire of controlling the phrase led to the word "Maoism".OK. there is that one article but it still refutes your point that no Chinese writer uses the term "Maosim". Also there are other Chinese news agencies which also use it.
These are also official government newspapers.

KMT downfall can Solely contributed to Chiang stupidity and the brilliance of CPC General. The reason as same as KMT ever did in mainland of China ... Chinese ppl choosing the right party to fit for our interests. Today the interest is to get rich !
You simply have all kinds of crap on China. Well who cares?
LOL ... if Chiang is smart or brilliance as u said, the KMT won't go TaiWan in 1949 ... unfortunately they'r stupid and even to lose TaiWan in 2016 election.KMT downfall can Solely contributed to Chiang stupidity and the brilliance of CPC General.
If Chiang can take away his prejudice and put Song Liren as commander in shenyang campaign. The outcome maybe different. Du yuming plan is quite good but not good enough. Du yuming lack charisma too.
Song Liren was claimed to be better than Lin Bian.
Maoism isn't real. The term is made up by the west. This gold statue is a bit excessive and seems stupid. But some Chinese people still love Mao very much. In a free world, they should be able to worship him in anyway they like, no matter how stupid or ironic it looks to other people. But again, China isn't considered to be a free world.are you denying Maoism isn't real??
whether it's crap doesn't matter to me. I'm not Chinese nor did I live during Mao's time
building a 120 foot golden Mao in a province that suffered heavily under his policies is just ironic is all.
