GITEX Shopper Exhibition finally concluded at Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), UAE on Saturday.
Every year people especially the Middle East residents get crazy about this spectacular IT, electronics and entertainment products sales event. In this spectacular shopping event, the leading information & communications technology vendors, suppliers, professionals, enthusiasts and customers from all over the world gather to promote their products and make good business.
According to organizer DWTC and top exhibitors, this event ended up successfully by beating the previous year’s sales and turnout figures.
The consumer electronics event continued for four days (1-4 April) and featured 30,000 products from renowned brands.
On the closing day, record-breaking sales were observed in which TVs, smartphones and laptops appeared to be in high demand. Contrasting to this, tablets deals were not up to the mark as expected.
Neelesh Bhatnagar (CEO of Emax) said on last day, “We have seen a growth of about 28% compared to last year and hope to achieve the 30% target.” Many other retailers exhibited almost the same response.
Gitex Shopper Autumn 2015, will take place from 3 to 10 October hopefully with more fabulous deals from world’s famous brands and the biggest retailers.
