So, Pashtuns are the closest related modern population to the DNA sample.

Aren't the Ghilzai Pashtuns of Af-Pak descendants of Turks ?

If true that would explain that modern Ghilzai Pashtuns must be related to Ghaznavids who were originally Turks.

Yes.

The dynastic lineage was a mix of Iranic and Turkic ancestry, however, this individual was almost certainly not part of the dynasty itself.

Can u specify which tomb this is from?

how is it ''pashtun'' when its clearly mentioned baloch.

second of all, the language is not an indication of ethnicity, if that was the case, the turkish people of modern day turkey would have central asian ancestry not anatolian. Turks were also present in afghanistan since longer period then originally thought.

He is not Ghaznavi but skeleton found in post Ghaznavi era Swat masjid. Ghaznavi had pashtun soldiers so this isnt surprising. He score like modern Ghilji/Durranis of south Afghanistan.

Ghiljis cannot be of turk origin as they score pretty much identical to durranis. Which mean their turk origins is just a myth.

Baloch is one of his components bro, you read it wrong.
