Get Used to It, America: We’re No Longer No. 1

So have the grey-matter deficient trolls called you a false flagging Indian yet @Khan_21 ?

Oh nvm already answered:

They honestly have no idea how their simplistic uni-dimensional cookie-cutter analysis makes them look and simply adds to the stereotype about PRC people.

Then why if its such milk and honey land...do so many migrate to the west still?...that too INCREASING (as Chinese economy supposedly is improving faster than anything in the US?)

If you do not take others in...ok...but why so many of you leave for foreign shores...and the pace increasing?

Nah man, I am convinced:

It must be true since it is now a permanent theme on PDF reaching right up to the superior management. There is no point is countering this manufactured "reality" in this forum.

:D

USA is a dying power, and China is the next superpower. After all, Pakistan destroyed USSR, and it alone chooses who the next superpower in the world will be, by divine right. Pakistan has chosen China, so it is inevitable.

I am convinced now. I accept this. In time, you will see the light too, my friend.

The Poorest state in US , Mississippi is still richer than China by about $15K . US is universally developed across its area . Majority of its Suburbs , Towns and Villages have the same quality of life as cities and are very aesthetically pleasing to the eye. It's not selectively developed like China where you guys keep posting pictures of few select areas in the city . If you go to rural Minnesota or Montana you can bet you get the same things you get in urban areas . In China we all know how your villages and towns are , you can keep posting those select few videos to fool the world .
I am repeating myself so many times, CHINA IS NOT RICHER THAN US, WE ARE BEHIND BY 50 YEARS. Please get this into that thick skull of yours. My brother lives in the suburbs in Naperville, but inner city Chicago is like shit and it's dangerous. This is where China is ahead, most cities are very safe when compared to the US and we don't have the homeless decay I saw in the inner cities. Have you been to China my friend? You come to China, take the train to the country side, see the bad and ugly but also see the beautiful. I have never seen such hatred from a Pakistani, not sure why you think China sucks so much.

When I say the inner cities are only slightly better than Indian cities, I am not comparing old decayed brick building to the cardboard mansion of slumdog India, those old decayed brick buildings would qualify as upper middle class housing in India. I am comparing the sense of hopelessness and smell. At least the homeless in US don't bare their asses shamelessly like the Indians and shit, but heck open defecation is the norm in the inner cities.

China doesn't suck . I never said it sucks , its when posters like beijingwalker starts posting BS like how China is ahead when in reality its quality of life is similar to Thailand/Srilanka is when it gets me. Are you guys insecure for some reason because each and every thread is about how China is ahead than US but in reality you are a middle income country. Facts are facts . Just because I am a Pakistani doesn't mean I start ignoring facts. China is a good country but it's just way behind US in 99 % of rankings. Education , Health , Governance , Civic Rights , Innovation , Science and technology , Cultural Power , Prosperity , Income , Freedom etc etc I can go on about each of these.

95 % of US is universally developed and its best areas are much more better than that of China. China doesn't have towns like those in California , Florida etc . But again you can pick a town and ignore the rest

2012? the time China just started..

China average income is around 10000$ a year, but think about China is one fifth of the humanity, many live in the mountains and deserts in Xinjiang , Tibet and Inner Mongolia, so average doesn't represent the wealth, first tier cities like Shenzhen is 22000$ average, China has the world biggest middle class and buy up nearly half of world total luxury goods.

Guess you don't know which city has the most billionaires on this planet, it's my home city, Beijing, holding the top spot for many years already.
Beijing is ‘Billionaire Capital of the World’

The number of billionaires around the world is rising rapidly, according to the Hurun Report’s 2018 Rich List, with China leading the pack.

As of Jan. 31, there are 2,694 billionaires in 68 countries, an additional 437 billionaires since last year, which amounts to an annual increase of 19.4%.

At 819 billionaires, China not only has the most by far, it is also gaining new ones at the fastest rate, having welcomed 210 new billionaires in the last year. Additionally, Beijing gained Hurun’s title of “Billionaire Capital of the World,” as the home of 131 billionaires.

The United States has the second-highest number of billionaires at 571, but the country only added 19 new billionaires in the last year.

In terms of national ranking, India comes in a distant third with 131 billionaires, accounting for an increase of 31 billionaires in the last year. It moved up a spot, from fourth place in 2017. Mumbai took the eighth spot in the city ranking, with 55 billionaires.

Although nearly all countries ranking in the top 27 saw an increase in billionaires over the past year, there are a few exceptions. Austria, with 12 billionaires, saw no change. South Korea, home to 33 billionaires, decreased by one. The Philippines went down to 12 billionaires from 14.

While Beijing holds the top spot amongst cities, it is not the only Chinese metropolis home to billionaires. Hong Kong and Shenzhen come in third and fourth, respectively. Shanghai is tied with London for fifth place.

New York, the only American city in the top 10, has 92 billionaires.

San Francisco was tied with Tokyo and Singapore for the 13th spot, each being home to 31 billionaires. Los Angeles is ranked 21st, with 24 billionaires.

The United States still dominates Hurun’s list of the world’s top-10 wealthiest individuals. Seven of the 10 richest people in the world are American.

Jeff Bezos, 54, founder and CEO of Amazon, leads the pack with a net worth of US$123 billion. Bezos saw a 71% increase in wealth in a year-over-year comparison.

Warren Buffett, 87, chairman and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway, maintained his second-place spot with a net worth of $102 billion, a 31% year-over-year increase.

Bill Gates, 62, came in third, despite holding the top spot last year. His net worth stands at $90 billion, an 11% increase since last year.

Don't make a fool out of yourself . The poorest cities in US are still richer than your richest cities .

Again since when did I say we ARE AHEAD? You keep on repeating how much better US is and I keep on repeating US is ahead. Have you been to China? I dare say the top 5 tier one cities are better than the US. Safety, clealiness and infastructure. My observations...

LOL at this thread... USA was never number one on many aspects apart from the fact that overall they are number one by a wide margin. China is just a local bully and a loan shark.

Your countrymen keep on posting similar threads. Not you . LOL really ? Have you checked your rankings for quality of life ? Even if you look at North Korea their capital looks very flashy but the real thing is facts and figures not making empty skylines . Congratulations you are better in 2 things but what about 50 other categories ?

Gosh, this is the fourth time I am repeating, you are really acting like an Indian. READ what I said, WE ARE NOT AHEAD except for safety, clealiness and infrastructure in a few tier 1 cities. No, the average Chinese living standards is not as good as Americans. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE READ! And posters don't represent China, did I group all Pakistanis as some argumentative imbecile like you? :D

Your countrymen keep on posting similar threads.
Didn't you see that every article is from US not China, why US churns out tons of those reports everyday, you tell me. You just barked up the wrong tree, why not try to tell US still publishing those reports and articles?

Please tell US this and ask them stop publishing the reports like the OP.

In fact most of these 'anti-US' articles are from the US. That's the difference between the US and China.

In the US public discourse isn't frowned upon and you can criticize the government's specific policies. Readers can access to both sides of the argument and make their own conclusion, for the better or for the worse.

In China's mainstream media how often do you see that? It does exist, but to what extend? Criticisms, if approved, have to be presented tactfully and never to challenge the CPC. Little tactical points here and there in articles are allowed but not major alternatives to challenge the general discourse.

Recently the ex-Head economist of Agriculture Bank of China criticized the government's monetary policy in the university lecture, and the video got censored. You have to jump over the Great Firewall to watch the speech on YouTube. That's how sensitive and insecure the Chinese government is towards a major and credible alternative view.

That's a different matter, but you think too much about the so called free media, I experienced it first hand for some years, it's also controlled and influenced, free media often also means free lying without consequences, in China everyone knows the media is controlled so people are skeptical about what the media says and almost no one fully believe it, but in the west people are fooled to believe that their media tells every truth and that's why you say the westerners more often than not are more brainwashed and misinformed than the Chinese, when a Chinese visits US, no one is surprised cause US is exactly what we learned from the media while almost all Americans were shocked when they first visited China cause everything is different from what they learned about this country.
A while ago a funny Canadian guy called on all the Chinese here to inform our families about fake vaccine in China and said he knows it's risking our lives to do so cause if we do we will be either put behind bars or even be executed, that's so hilarious and it showed how their media work to make people dumb, that's actually the most reported news in China.

These are very broad generalizations. Aren't you yourself using 'Western media' to create threads? Why? Isn't that because there's a wide range of views for you to share selectively? There aren't reports of China's progress in the US for these 'ignorant' Americans to read, and therefore they are 'brainwashed' to think China is backward? What's the alternative for them to access different views? What's the alternative for the average Chinese to access different views?

I also use Chinese media, but for English language there are not much reports from China, most Chinese reports are in Chinese and since PDF is an Enlgish forum so many of reports are from western media, I quoted them doesn't mean they are very accurate, just do that for the sake of discussion, I also use Chinese forum where I post Chinese language information, In China now people tend to us 自媒体 , Weixin, Weibo where you can see first hand accounts and videos reporting from the scene by fellow users.

China needs to learn this art of feeling free but not free. It's the illusion that you have the right to choose freely but you use other means to coerce someone to make a choice. The US media is the biggest coercive tool, Trump was the result of frustration towards this 'free and fair' media.

His claim is ridiculous. There are plenty of media in the West (even PDF which is based in the US...as if this would work as freely in China where government censors would influence the mods) that spew stories from every angle. If he thinks some news outlets are particularly biased then the others pick up the slack. Even US media every day writes anti-Trump articles. How many Chinese media sites post anti-Xi articles? If ANYTHING he is brainwashed because Chinese media concentrates on posting positive stories and hiding many negative ones to make their government look like it is doing an excellent job compared to the FAILURES of others in the world. They are excluding outside media because the general public will be exposed to some cracks they don’t want them to see (for instance Uighurs).

If I post a non-flattering article here about China it rattles them deeply right to the core because they simply aren’t used to it. The lashing out and the name calling begin...meanwhile 5 minutes before they themselves were posting an unflattering article about some other country since that is what they are conditioned to see (and unfortunately their harsh group response to anything unflattering is also conditioned!!).

Like how many Westerners here completely lash out at you when you post some anti-West article? As if we are going to call you some false flagged monkey or something? Lol!

Sensitivities and over-triggerings clearly indicate who has larger complexes and chips on shoulders etc in the end by far.
