Germany sees Jordan as alternative to Turkey’s İncirlik base

. .
so much mistrust and animosity between some NATO members and Turkey. I can't believe we are actually selling the F-35 to Turkey. what is stopping Turkey from sending one of these F-35 to Russia or China??

but this situation could be easily solved if NATO had a longer ranged fighter bomber like the F-111.

Do you think it's only Turkey to blame for all the mistrust? Have you ever tried to look on things from Turkey's perspective and understand the problems it faces and the "allies" it has to deal with or you only have one image and stereotype for the country in your head- Turkey- bad, Turkey- wrong, Turkey- evil?

On a serious note, Turkey is a partner in the Joint Strike Fighter program with some parts for the plane being produced in Turkey. It's a country that plans to get a 100 (and probably more) of those F-35 jets and is also the location for the maintenance of the planes in Europe together with Italy. To even think that Turkey is willing to share such an important technology with Russia (which is a rival to Turkey in almost every direction in the region) or China is just... dumb.

ps Be sure that the Chinese government (hackers) probably know most of what they need to know about the F-35 already. :enjoy:

You are not selling anything,we joined the program as a partner so,this means that we can get as many as we want.
There is the difference, when you are not in the program,it has to go through the Senat, procurement office(or whatever you call it) etc.
The mistrust is because of you our long standing so called ally who supports our enemies with weapons and political support, would you like it if we openly supported Russia or China against the US(maybe we should)?
So dont come with the bs comment ''so much mistrust'',you caused it,you face the consequences.
And whats with the ''some NATO members and Turkey'',as if we are not part of NATO?
Nothing is stopping us from sending one of those F-35s to Russia or China except our honour,we dont backstab our allies, never did,you have a history in these matters, maybe something to think about?

Israel was just a small contributer, the real help came from NATO allies like France and Germany.
Ask the Chinese members.

That would put our F-35s in risk against Russian Air Defense systems and most of our adversaries uses Russian systems. So, it's against our interests.

Honestly, i don't know what it's their problem. I only know, if Turkey sh*t in the corner, i get their visages on the tv screen. Everytime, everywhere regardless what is the reason.
But we should not forget, it's their good right as MPs to make such visits on the other side, i have really to think, when the greens and the lefts have visit some soldiers the last time.

For the other point, @mike2000 is back has right, it's a difference between brexit and the NATO, therefore they will surely grant us the access to their bases.

Now, i will do what every part time nazi is doing at the weekend...i will try to dominate the world. Maybe @Vergennes can lend me some hand for this...:enjoy:

In the recent few decades, Germany has recognised and seen Turkey as the enemy of German interests.

Nowadays They do not try ''hard''(!) to hide it anymore as seen in the media, what is more, they have gone into full nuts mode; for example, they have academically financed ''German elites/scholars'' for fabrications of stories(for example under the name of History) about Turks (for example in WW1). In this way, First , They build fake ''Facts'', and then using the power of the media, they take advantages of and build an ''image'' on those ''Facts'' for future/today's German interests. Armenians, ISIS, PKK/PYD/YPG, FETÖ, Sunni-Alevi, Turk Imams etc.

However, Some had/have helped, allied with them to take over the power and be the only one. Ergenekon, Balyoz etc. cases, FETÖ etc.

The road map in Turkey is similar to The creations and reigns of puppets in the Middle East or underdeveloped countries in the world, but who took advantage of the reigns and suffered in the end, also how their reigns ended?

Alternatives to Incirlik:
As America faces future crises across the Middle East, other bases could prove equally suitable
