Germany´s engineering group develops first electric car for VinFast

holy shyt title click bait. the article says they only awarded a contract... didn't develop anything yet. the title made out sound like it was all done and the car is rolling off the factory floor.

many things run parallel. factories being constructed, models developed, machineries installed, Paris motor show in Summer, supply chains, seeking workers, trainings, hiring German technology companies, sea ports constructed, roads, rails, etc...

construction was kicked start at September 2017. first electric bikes will be rolled off assembly lines end of this year, mass production of two conventional car models next year, followed by electric car and electric bus. Vietnam is in a hurry.
