We try to mechanize it, so make it even more remote,,with drones and robotic systems.

You are absolutely right...i'm not arguing about that.... being a soldier is not a enjoyable thing to do and very hard.. but when you get past yourself and fight for a greater cause... everything becames more easy.

Also....i don't know about German military but you will be a good soldier in Turkish military.... all we need is 3 months to turn you into a robot who follows orders to the letter without questioning. Seriously, you won't even notice that you have became a robot.

Because we are a democratic entity. Its good to have critics. Even from backwarded people. But people who still think in 19th century ideas are not important anyways and so far you can see that they have no influence at all.

NATO has a bleak future ahead given the changing world politics. The members are quite divided on the issue of what should be the primary security concern of NATO especially since it has began to focus on Afghanistan and Middle East. Members like France and Germany argues NATO's main focus should be on Europe. Members like Poland are quite concerned with Russia's aggression since the Russia-Georgian war and lost faith in NATO which prompted them to sign a bilateral defence pact with USA.
