However, as Germany is where Pfizer vaccine comes from, I doubt that the decision is based on logistic and supply issues.

But I do not trust vaccines developed by politically-motivated science. The German people may have developed the same feelings.

I think, unlike the US, Germany will not look at the issue from a politically-tainted lenses, and decide what's best for its people.

Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz said Sunday he was open to Russia's Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine or Chinese alternatives being produced in his country, if they are authorised in the European Union.

Is Pfizer vaccine a total failure, or being sidelined in EU because of its doubtful efficiency and safety? If not, why the Austrian does not want to produce them? And look like not only Austria, other EU countries like Czech and Slovakia all want to produce Russia or Chinese vaccines in their countries. (if they just want to buy vaccines from China or Russia, we may understand that is about supply, but produce?)

Germany does not even face all the problems and risk that come with Pfizer vaccines since they are basically on site, have the ability to scientifically monitor the application process unlike other countries that can just "hope" nothing goes wrong and their infrastructure can easily manage the high efforts to transport and store the vaccines avoiding risk of defective jabs leading to e.g. supposedly vaccinated hospital personal spawning new clusters

If they are looking for Chinese and Russian vaccines its mainly driven by capacity issues. Of course the ones who make that decission know the propaganda spread about Chinas vaccines by US regime mouthpieces is bullshit. You have to be borderline retarded to actually fall for these lies scratching at the bottom of the barrel to spin data from studies contradicting their own reports to slander Chinas vaccines.

...No COVID vaccine ...not even the Chinese one prevents infection, it protects against adverse effects of the disease (serious illness or death) .
In other words, only 10% of all vaccines ever created grants sterilising immunity (effective immunity) e.g. HPV vaccine.
Please stop this uninformed nonsense before people post news of COVID infection post administration of Chinese vaccine.
