Turkey is a modern, developed country with scientific and industrial prowess of a modern 21st century state. Yet, it has withstood the sexual revolution despite being right next to Europe and opening itself to European influences more than any other Muslim state did.

And Turkey is not alone. Hyper developed regions of Muslim world, such as GCC is also the same. And even modern developed Muslim countries in Asia pacific...such as Malaysia...has the same story. Great education system, developed economies, decent income levels ($30k per capita PPP), and modern 21st century state...yet, sexual revolution couldn’t dent Malaysia’s mainstream Islamic social culture in any noticeable way.

So whether it’s a poor parts of Isalmic world or rich/wealthy parts...story stays the same.
