Supposedly classified video from 2004 that shows a German drone flying dangerously close to a passenger plane with 100 people aboard has renewed concerns that the unmanned aircraft should be fitted with anti-collision technology. The short clip, which emerged on YouTube, shows a German Luna drone over Afghanistan that comes within about 6 feet of an Ariana Afghan Airlines Airbus 300 passenger jet. The drone then goes out of control and crashes to the ground near Kabul. The wreckage was not recovered.
