In the summer of this year a german dive robot build and devlopt by researcher of the Fraunhofer-Institut has scanned lake Ontario in Canada... during the scannes they have found the wrecks of two canadian developt prototypes of the Avro Canada CF-105 Arrow
The Avro Canada CF-105 was a high speed interceptor developt to stop incoming russian atomic bombers.. they had build 8 prototypes, after a government change the project was stoped.
Now a team of german researcher from Frauenhofer Institue have found the remaining parts of two jets in lake Ontaria in about 240m deep.
bad wather has stoped the research season for this year they will continue next summer...
The canadian company Kraken robotic has bought the licens to produce the dive roboter...
