Germans work hard and party hard! They get a lot of vacation days and use those for travels. Per capita in the world, I think Germans maybe the highest number of global tourists and spenders. I remember a study from over a decade ago which said that Germans spend $40 billion in global tourism, which was the same amount as United States--a far larger country.
