Germany’s Chancellor Angela Merkel is expected to demand that the British Prime Minister give the green light to a pan-European force if he wants to secure his much-heralded negotiations before an in/out referendum by 2017.
A source in Berlin said: “If you want favours, you have to give favours."
"If Cameron wants a 'flexible Europe', he must let other members integrate further," they told the Telegraph.
"Yes - opt out, opt out, opt out - and then shut up.”

Mrs Merkel’s Christian Democratic Union party has reportedly drawn up a ten-point plan for “a permanent structured and coordinated cooperation of national armed forces”.
A separate document drawn up by another of the German Chancellor’s allies in Europe called the lack of an EU army HQ “absurd”.
European leaders want a new shared army to tackle emerging threats form Islamic State terrorists in the Middle East and increasing Russian aggression in Ukraine and the Baltics.
It could also be deployed to help manage the escalating migrant crisis affecting vast swathes of the continent.

But critics fear an EU army would jeopardise the UK’s position in Nato.
Germany has led the way in spelling out the supposed need for an EU army.
Those calls have ben echoed by European Commission president Jean-Claude Juncker, who claimed in May that joint armed forces “would help us to build a common foreign and security policy, as well as jointly assume the responsibilities of Europe in the world”.
Mr Juncker insists any Euro army would not be in competition with Nato.
“Rather, a European army would bring an intensive co-operation in the development and the purchase of military equipment and bring substantial savings,” he said.

i dislike that honestly not a pan-European force but more of build aircraft, missiles together a Pan-European force would have major problems. Rule 1 : Language barriers. look at the soviets during ww2 and how efficient that was lol

The Future German Multipurpose ships are being planned. The German defence ministry plans to procure 2 of these vessels for the support of 2 Joint Support Ships for a modernization and buildup of the navy. These vessels are equivalent to the Endurance class.
Capacity: 700 troops, 270 Vehicles, 8 Helicopters, 2 Landing craft, 70 Hospital beds and 2 operating rooms.
