In 14 may 2014, Geo News has crossed it's all limits by attempting an act of Blasphemy of Hazrat Ali (R.A) and Hazrat Fatima (R.A) in its morning show host by ‘Shaista Wahidi’ named as Utho Jago Pakistan GEO TV.
This act of geo group was condemned not only in Pakistan but all across the world. The question arises why are they making such programs on regular basis. And who is supporting them. And why pemra is quite in such sensitive issues?
In past they aired lots of controversial shows which was against interest of Pakistan. First geo made programs criticizing our ISI and army. And now after criticizing our army and ISI now they are working against Islam.

Geo has a history of doing such silly things and then asking for an apology. This is was so called Aalim Amir Liaqat did several times in past and this is what this bitch Shaista Lodhi has done multiple times. Enough with this filthy channel, ban it once and for all. And if Govt takes side with them, topple the govt too. We don't need a govt that is not true representative of public's sentiments.

A few questions for those who still defend this Geo's shameful act and ask to apologize Shaista Lodhi or Geo after they have asked for forgiveness.

1) It was a live show, so everything including contents was prepared before program. So they must have done this before program too.

2) Where was the producer when all this was happening? Why didn't he intervene and let it all go air?

3) Who chose that Qawali to be played on Veena Malik's mock wedding? Qawali must have been selected before starting of program.

4) In live program, if anything goes wrong they take break and stop such things. Why anyone didn't intervene?

It was all well planned and didn't happen accidentally. They knew what they were doing. I am not gonna buy this crap.

On the other hand, Govt is trying to create hurdles to postpone a crucial PEMRA meeting on Geo's issue. Notable thing here is, PEMRA is an autonomous body, when people asked why Govt didn't push PEMRA to take actions against Geo, Govt said they cannot do anything as PEMRA is autonomous. But now when PEMRA took actions against Geo on public pressure, govt is creating hurdles. Only SC can cancel PEMRA meetings, Govt has no power of doing so.
