Genetic distance between Iranians and Saudis

I have noticed some people here have this wrong idea that Iranians are closer to Saudis than they are to us. Not that I care because we are still pretty distant, but just putting it out for this one Iranian guy who never fails to bring up Pakistani dna/genetics in every thread he posts. Anyways for all who are interested to understand from a scientific perspective, not just opinions, you can see the distances in the image below. I can add other populations to this tool (Vahaduo) if anyone wants.

So the genetic facts confirm that Pakistanis are racially more similar to Iranians than we are to indians and Arabs. Also, Pakistanis are racially more similar to Iranians than the Arabs or Europeans are. The data also proves that Pakistanis, Afghans and Iranians are racially and genetically more similar to one another than they are to anyone else. That is expected as the area that is now modern day Iran, Pakistan and Afghanistan was one nation for over 2000 years.

The scientific data above destroys the myths that Pakistanis are the same as race as indians and other "South Asians".

@PAKISTANFOREVER Indian Punjabis (excluding Chamars/Dalits) are not too far from Pakistani Punjabis. However the distance between Indian Punjabis and other Indians can be quite large.

I don't think so. Iranians look quite different to Pakistani Punjabis and Sindhis. They look far similar to Arabs especially the Kuwaiti and Bahraini Arabs. Anybody with a good eyesight can tell you that.

@PAKISTANFOREVER Indian Punjabis (excluding Chamars/Dalits) are not too far from Pakistani Punjabis. However the distance between Indian Punjabis and other Indians can be quite large.

That is not really significant as indian Punjabis make up less than 5% of india's population and only a minority of that 5% are racially and genetically similar to Pakistani Punjabis. So at least 95% of india's population has NO racial or genetic connections to Pakistan whatsoever.

Although Pakistanis are racially and genetically more closer to Iranians than we are to indians, least 40% of Pakistanis are racially and genetically identical to 75% of Afghans. Afghanistan is the nation we Pakistanis share the most in common with.

I think nobody doubts that Pakistanis are closer to us than Saudis when it comes to genetics. Even if it were the other way around, all Iranians would insist that Pakistanis are still closer to us because Iranians don't like Saudis anyway lol

It seems that we are close to French people in Paris as well. Go figure! lol

Nevertheless, these notions of distance are meaningless usually. I learned nothing from those bunch of numbers.

The Pathan, Balouch and North Western Nomadic tribes of Pakistan look identical to Iranians. The y make up nearly 40% of Pakistan's population. I know because I visited these regions in December just gone (2019).

You do know that the area that is now modern day Pakistan and Afghanistan were once all part of the Persian and Safivid empire for over 2000 years?

More like almost equidistant between French and Saudis. Saudis have more input from a people known as Natufians who lived in the Levant thousands of years ago.

I didn't dig up the source for samples (who may NOT have been good enough) but one simple drawback is that Marathi, Gujarati has been listed without delineating the caste groups as in the case of Pakistani Gujar, for example take Marathi Brahmins

As a Pakistani, I can tell you most of us are dark. Arabs (except the ones from Yemen and Oman) are lighter than us by a shade or two. Not that I think there is anything to be proud of in being lighter skinned.
