General Raheel Sharif led Pakistan’s armed forces from November 29, 2013 and will soon be replaced by Lieutenant General Qamar Javed Bajwa was one of the most popular army chiefs of the country.

The man who led Zarb-e-Azb, brought peace to Karachi through a full-scale operation and made Waziristan and the country’s tribal areas safe for the common Pakistani will retire from his services on November 29, 2016.

Nov 15, 206: General Raheel Sharif inaugurated state of the art Younus Khan sports stadium with a packed crowd of viewers watching an inaugural match played between FATA Eleven and Younis Khan Eleven in FATA.

Nov 13, 2016: General Raheel Sharif, Prime Minister and CM Balochistan on the occasion of launching of pilot project- first trade convoy at Gwadar.

November 3, 2016: Raheel Sharif met with Pakistan Army team which won Gold Medal in “Exercise Cambrian Patrol” held in UK from 14-23 October.

Oct 27, 2016: General Raheel Sharif visited National Counter Terrorism Training Centre (NCTC), Pabbi and witnessed Pakistan – China Joint Special Forces Exercise “YOUYI-VI 2016”

October 19, 2016: General Sir Nicholas Patrick Carter, Chief of General Staff (CGS) UK Army along with General Raheel Sharif, Chief of Army Staff paying tribute to Shuhada after laying floral wreath at Yadgar- e – Shuhada GHQ

October 6, 2016: General Raheel Sharif visited field area near Attock and witnessed the ongoing Pakistan-Russia joint exercise “DRUZBAH”, which commenced on 27 September.

General Raheel Sharif arrived in Germany on one day official visit to participate in a conference of Chiefs of Staffs of the Armed Forces being held under auspices of US CENTCOM. Beside the host General Joseph Votel, Commander US CENTCOM, Chiefs of Armies of Pakistan, Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz republic, Tajikistan,Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, were participating in the conference- Sep 26, 2016

General Raheel Sharif, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) visited North Waziristan Agency (NWA) and spent his day with troops and tribals of NWA today. COAS was briefed in detail by the formation commander about recent progress of ongoing Operation Zarb-e-Azb, IBOs and return of TDPs. Appreciating the progress, he vowed to continue ops till total elimination of terrorists.- December 19, 2015:

Its so Pathetic to see a huge Negative campaign against Gen Raheel in Indian media and the Language they use for a Professional Army General show's the caliber of their Journalism .. and i even saw retired or Ex-army general/Analyst from India who use such gutter language on TV which is highly non Professional , Except for Dibhar Singh ex Army Chief of India rest of their Active or Ex Personnel are pathetic ...
