Sir you have to use anti magnetic tools. These are made from Beryllium Copper. The first thing a Bomb Tech would have to do is identify the type of munition s/he is dealing with, if you can't identify it, you can't handle it.How important is earthing in defusing explosives? Especially of warhead such as these?
Secondly with conventional munitions, the Bomb Tech would look to remove the fuse:
The reason the second tech is using water is to prevent a static discharge setting the fuse off as it is removed from the housing.
The other method is to remove the detonator from the main charge: For this xray's would be taken to identify the circuit etc.
Failing that if the operation is too risky, the Bomb Tech will go for a controlled explosion, this involves building a trench around the IED/UXO and blowing it up from a very big distance away:
