What's new

Gaza is victorious

thousands dead mostly woman and children.. put in harms way because of Hamas
most of Gaza destroyed

and you call this a victory?
No matter how you see it, no matter how you size it, it is a victory. Painful but is a victory neverless,if they got the blockade lifted and the hostilities ceased, as reported by the world press. The Gazans have paid a heavy price. Israel too, paid a price of different kind, since her arrogance made her a pariah. A pariah not in the eyes of the western world, but a pariah in eyes of Europeans , africans, asians, and South Americans! Now its time for the Gazans to lick their wounds, dust their pants, get rid of hamas and start building an islet of peace and prosperity for their future generation.

Is demilitarisation of Hamas issued in the agreement?and who is going to control the airport?

This is not just victory this is

R.E.S.I.S.T.A.N.C.E

The arrogant israeli animals thought they could attack Gaza kill innocent people and get away with it

The palestinian resistance did what any resistance organisation could do and that is to resist against overwhelming odds against a much stronger foe whilst retaining the ability to strike back against that foe

Sure 2000 Palestinian were killed and a lot of damage caused and all Muslims regret this and condemn the jew for his crimes vowing to remember the jew crimes when the time comes

But Israel a illegitimate state supported by billions in american aid and military hardware

has just spent billions to attack , break and demilitarise Hamas war is all about objectives
and all israel managed do was to waste billions, waste resources, bring its country under constant rocket fire including its capital Tel Aviv

at the same time its reputation has been dragged through the mud and anti semitism around the world pushed up with a renewed effort to economically hurt israel

What the Palestinian achieved isn't pretty and its come at a price

a tiny surrounded entity as managed to survive and continue to fight and hurt a much powerfuller state

Gutless and cowardly hindus in india or other israel supporters don't get this is a victory for Hamas regardless of the cost

That will be a big mistake if the Gazan agreed to that without having an intermediary armed force to protect them...Demilitarisation should be out of question for Gazan, it is pure suicide.

It's not part of agreement. If air port is built most likely PA presidential guard will control it. Seaport will be internationally monitored.

This is rubbish agreement then which Palestinians should modify !!!!. Airport, seaport, checkpoints, border crossing should all be controlled by factions who are Hamas or under Hamas influence or are anti zionist fighters.

If israel is appeased in this agreement it will be a setback for the Palestinian people. zionists must come out defeated out of this agreement.

I know what you're thinking but don't worry about it. It will work fine. Take my word for it.

LOL

Genocidal Israeli's attacked Gaza again thinking it would be a cakewalk. Genocidal Israeli's failed in achieving any objectives. The blockade on Gaza will be lifted.

The seaport/airport will be established if negotiations succeed a month from now. Electricity crisis is part of deal and will be solved.

Only when hamas be gone.

I don't think that terms like Victory or Defeat can be applied on the Palestinian Israeli conflict

Palestinians reach long-term truce with Israel: Officials

Palestinian resistance groups and Israeli officials have reportedly reached an agreement on a permanent ceasefire for the besieged Gaza Strip.

According to Palestinian sources, the Palestinians and the Israelis agreed to a permanent ceasefire on Tuesday.

"The contacts that have been going on have agreed a permanent ceasefire, a (deal to) end the blockade and a guarantee that Gaza's demands and needs will be met," media quoted a senior unnamed Palestinian official as saying.
Meanwhile, Mussa Abu Marzuk, a senior official from the Palestinian resistance group Hamas, said the truce marks a victory for the Palestinians. He added that the truce is expected to be officially announced in the Egyptian capital Cairo.

The developments come as previous temporary ceasefires have failed to produce a deal between the two sides.

The contentious subject at the Cairo talks has been the issue of the Israeli blockade of the impoverished territory.

The Palestinian resistance movement Hamas wants the seven-year siege of Gaza, which has crippled the coastal enclave and tightly restricted the movement of goods and people, to be removed.

The Palestinians also demand that the coastal territory be allowed to open an airport and seaport.

Israel launched an aerial military campaign against Gaza in early July and later expanded its operation with a ground invasion.

More than 2,137 Palestinians, including around 570 children, have been killed so far in the Israeli onslaught on Gaza. Some 11,000 others have been wounded.

Most of the victims were civilians, including children, women and the elderly.

Tel Aviv says 68 Israelis have been killed in the conflict, but Hamas puts the number at more than 150.
PressTV - Palestinians reach long-term truce with Israel: Officials

The Palestinian resistance will no be disarmed, this was a big if not the biggest issue, and by agreeing to this permanent truce deal, Usrael has proved that it could not keep going on militarily, since despite all the heavy losses, the Palestinian resistance movements could still disrupt Usraeli's life on a daily basis with almost no victims but no quality of life worth living either for hundreds of thousands of Usraelis, disruption of an international airport, hellish life in military bases and keeping the Israeli ground troops at bay, or inflicting unacceptable heavy casualties on them.
If someone does not call this a victory of some kind, than he must rethink again.
This led to the agreement more than anything else, This agreement is no less than lifting the blockade for good, opening and enlarging the fishing zone of Gaza, agreement for not intervening in the construction of a seaport and an airport that can boost Gazan's trade with the exterior world, and much more possibilities to better the life of these Palestinians who has proved steadfast in the face of dangerous odds.

So, congratulations to the Gazan Palestinian people, and may God help you achieve your deserved dreams of success, freedom and a better life for you and your future generations.

israel did lose media war... and in any case there cannot be any military result to such conflict.

Egypt back in 1973 achieved a similar outcome , and it was hailed by the United States as a , Victory
