Does this host seem legit (ID: 42078)? Iran volunteer work exchanges
Tehran, Mashhad, Shiraz, Tabriz, Isfahan, Qom, Alborz and probably other cities have metro systems.Great thread! I love Iran!
The best way I find to get a taste of local "Everyday life" is to find the "gopro" style youtube videos of motorcycle/car trips/clips.
You get to see the traffic, what types of cars/vehicles ppl run, cleanliness/order (and opposite) and general demeanour of the country. There are some really good ones from Turkey I have found over the years....here are some from Iran:
BTW, are there any plans for more metro/subways in cities outside of Tehran?

If I weren't serious, I wouldn't have posted what I did. What I haven't decided is the date as it'll depend on when my friend who's currently in abu dhabi comes back. Please do ask the organization name for me so I can google about it and stuff. As for the pocket money, It's fine even if they didn't pay at all. In fact, most orgs ask for donations or charge a fee for accommodation and food which I have no problem with either. If getting to know how bad a people you Iranians are comes at a price, I'll happily pay it.I don't know about that but I remember there is an international internship program that Iran is part of. Two years ago, our company used it, and we had one Chinese girl intern with us and one guy from Brazil. If you are %100 serious, I can ask my HR what was the organization name. The university backs it, and they are in charge for providing you accommodation, finding you an internship spot, and you get a small spending money from the company you work it (its just pocket money, if I recall correctly, I think we paid only 200 USD per month)
