G20 Summit: US, India, UAE, Saudi to finalise Middle-East shipping, railway deal

Yes, it will bypass them

From India to UAE through the sea, from there, through Saudi Arabia, Jordan up to Israel, and from Israel through the sea again to Europe.

Much faster than Suez. Also it adds UAE, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Israel to the trade.

You could export stuff to multiple nations in one way.

Which nations?

Most of the infrastructure already exists anyway, add the populations of those countries together, what does it add up to?

If the purpose is to sell stuff to those countries, then what's different to what's already happening

If the purpose is to send stuff to Europe then suez canal is more direct with one ship loading and unloading in Europe

The only way you could make sense of this is, if it's another jewey trick
I.e try to make Haifa a entry into Asia whilst at the moment it's only Israel

Do you understand how supply chains work ? Even for something as a simple as a shirt that is stitched in Bangladesh and sold in Sweden, the raw, intermediate and finished products will typically pass through hundreds of hands . Adding one more leg which has very high economies of scale will not add much to the cost. In fact, it will be more than offset by the time consuming and expensive Suez leg. The participating countries will benefit by keeping the transportation revenue within themselves rather than to countries on the existing route. It also de-risks the existing route which is already stretched and will become more so as global trade increases.

Yeah, I know how it works

That's why it doesn't make any sense

The only way it kind of makes sense is from a U.S Jew perspective, that they need Israel more interlinked with the surrounding states, so if they can get European products into Asia via a route where Israeli port of Haifa is important, then you can see why the Jew fcukers would be so eager, with Arabs doing their usual sell out routine

It makes no sense from the Indian side whatsoever

If your sending something to one of those countries, then you can send it, the infrastructure ALREADY exists

If your sending something to Europe, then unloading it at UAE, to take it to multiple countries via train, only to load it back onto a ship in Israel, then another boat ride to Greece where it's unloaded again, is frankly nonsensical

okay, thanks for making it clear that you don't understand supply chain economics or the implication and risk of another blockage of the Suez canal and just want to propagate conspiracy theories.

As opposed to BRI where far more countries are transited including ones with armed conflicts. That makes sense !!!!!

No it's a risk, but China whishes to develop it's western half

At the moment it's only option is it's Eastern ports

So a direct line via Pakistan or via central Asian states, just makes obvious sense

How it will be much faster?

Also what will india export to Europe? India isn’t china, Indian export can’t even compete with Hong Kong let alone china.

This is just another smoke and mirror bs. We have heard build back better yet usa didn’t invest any money for roads and infrastructure in any developing countries.

And most of the Greece port are now own by China.

And other countries are developing routes that suit them. BRI and CPEC make absolutely NO SENSE. But it is not just whingers like me saying so, the proof is in the pudding .
How is the trade going through Gwadar ??
Is it the new greater Dubai shinning yet ??
What's the tonnage being transported from Gwadar to Western China and back ??
Where are the oil and gas lines linking the Middle East to the great markets of Western China ??
Where are the containers moving between Central Asia and Gwadar ???
How many containers have moved so far ?? One Two ten ???

Lungi, Don't tax your brain. You are too stupid to understand the benefits. Your shit country is not even an afterthought in such matters. So leave it to us to make it work. Now shuuuu.

Just look at the map. Trains are generally faster than ships and passage through the Suez canal is slow.

There is already trade between the countries involved and this corridor is for the future with the US actively trying to get Western companies to move out of China. Apple and Micron are already moving production to India.

Lolwut ? BBB was meant for American jobs in America.

There is more than one port in Europe and which port in Greece other than Piraeus does China own ?

yes but off loading and unloading takes lot of times. It includes labour cost and waste of time. This will only work if suez is blocked or Egypt turn against USA. Chance of that happen is next to nothing.

Not the BBB they have another one to counter china. Zero involvement so far. USA involvement in third world countries are negligible.

Usa is trying to move it away from China. That’s true but it’s going to most in Vietnam, Mexico and south east Asia. Indian share is not much.

You said build back better. That is meant only for America, and US gives far more aid to third world countries than any other.

All these countries will benefit. Vietnam is cheap but doesn't have the engineering talent or English skills that India does. More complex process will probably move to India Mexico and ASEAN are more expensive and each have their own advantages and disadvantages. Even countries like Bangladesh may gain as they have experience in garments and are cheaper than China.

The PPP adjusted per capita GDP of India is higher than Bangladesh and the poor in India receive a lot of subsidies and state support. The average person in India is slightly better off than the one in Bangladesh.

Dumb shits like you think that your shit hole has higher per capita than India. No wonder you lots are chaprassis all around the world. Go stitch your chaddis. Discussion at this level is not your cup of tea. Lol.

I hope they can do something instead of just saying something.

This route doesn't make any sense for India and definitely not sustainable. BTW Europe's priority is meeting its energy needs and if the U.S do not pressurize them they would prefer to normalize ties with Russia. The winner if there is anyone here is Middle East who has got a lot of oil and gas and can connect to Europe by land. What does India offer that Europe needs? For everything else China already has a larger share of exports. It exports at least 10x of India
