An American who is more American than the American themselves, who happens to know more about Pakistan than Pakistanis themselves, even though he has hardly spent a month in PAkistan ! Then he has actually met all the military leadership, who also happens to tell him everything.

2) "Corrupt and Incompetent Leadership": Just because you think someone's corrupt WITHOUT proofs.....its not the law of the land. In fact, the SAME corrupt people and their legitimate rules, JUST got ratified by a Judicial Committee which had elements from every institute. And the decision by all the judges and people that belong to other parties, also said the elections were fair and the rulers have the right to rule the way they want to.

Not to mention the crazy growth and projects getting done which never ever happened in the 70 years of Pakistan's life. Out of which, over 50 belonged to the military where nothing worked or moved, unless there was a War and the US was sending in cash dollars!!!!

The ONLY party here that's proven to be incompetent in running Pakistan, is the Pakistani Military. Had they not interfered with Pakistan's government and try to be the "saviors and rulers" of Pakistan......your country would be standing next to South Korea. Your economists gave growth plans to South Korea and Saudia.....look where they are today. Why the SAME plans couldn't work in Pakistan? Because the generals are NOT economists and they don't understand the GDP, the PPP the economy and its impact!!!

Are you clear on who damaged Pakistan more than anyone else in Pakistan??? I think the answer is clear from the above paragraph!!! The Pakistani military is a powerful and honorable institute to Pakistani people as it protects the country. That's their job and they do it very well. But interfering with government, economic growth, business expansion, etc, isn't what they were taught or went to school for.....so they shouldn't interfere and they've learned the lesson. Bankrupt economy can't pay its soldier's salaries....that was the lesson learned well right after Zardari left!!!

3) Army's interference has weakened significantly over the past few years. Which shouldn't happened 4 decades ago, and Pakistan would be ABOVE Dubai today!!! The Military doesn't need to and doesn't have the ability to run civilian matters. They screw with the system one more time, this time the Chinese will extract their money back and will impose weapon's sanctions on Pakistan. It'll be the reverse as you guys complain about the US doing it. No bigger power just wants to WASTE its billions of dollars and not earn any profit. The money doesn't grow on trees. So the military rule is no option anymore and it won't be tolerated. You can mark my words. The next time the military comes, Pakistan would probably go bankrupt within a couple of years and will be broken as every state would want to sustain itself. Would you let a family practice doctor, who's not seen surgery in years, operate on your heart? NO. You'll find a Cardiologist for that. Similarly, the Military is trained to fight, not talk with business people, understand investments and stock market, etc, etc. Let them do their job and learn to follow the system as that is what's started to work and it is growing your country!!! Allow the democratic system to help your 200 million people, majority of which, historically, never had a decent lifestyle for the past 70 years!!! This democratic system will also remove terrorism, extremism and all other evils that are plaguing Pakistan today. The people of Pakistan want to see a modern, tolerant and rich Pakistan and that's something the military has NO means to provide. So let the people in your government, who have been doing the hard work, actually finish the work in their term.

You don't ask a Doctor to Professionally Paint Buildings. He would do a VERY BAD job at it as that's not his specialty. Similarly, expect the same level of Paint job from the military when they try to govern the country. Nothing gets out, no economic growth, people's welfare, no policies, needs, nothing is met as their skill set isn't to run governments.......I hope you learned the lesson.

But something tells me, you'll never change so good luck to you. You'll never see the military on the front or in the back running anything. The country belongs to the PEOPLE and they'll run it through vote. Not through tanks or guns. The military's roles is getting removed by the day and soon, it'll belong to the barracks or the borders, and unless its called, there is no need to interfere with civilian matters. That's what's honorable for them and that's what right for Pakistan.

Makran Coastal Highway was officially constructed in 2004. FWO is constructing a new highway or Makran Highway was never finished ?

Two different projects.
On the East of Gwadar is Karachi. Coastal Highway connects Gwadar with Karachi. The highway runs parallel to the coast and connects ports of Jewani, Passni, Ormara, Gwadar and Karachi.

This project is about a Highway which will link Gwadar to central or inwards area of Pakistan towards North and North west. Chamman border is North West of Gwadar linking Afghanistan with Gwadar port, while the road extension towards DG Khan will link Gwadar to District of Punjab. From DG Khan there are roads structure present, which could be towards Central Punjab or towards KPK up towards Chitral or KKH.

i hope that may be a few years down the line .. lets say 2016/17 ... they will connect ormara with N25 as well... anywhere between bela and khuzdar and then take the road further to N55 to connect it near sehwan and dadu..
As of now the area between M8 and N25 and between N25 and N55 is a nomans land... wilderness and widespread poverty.
