Chinese satisfaction to the leadership is because their leaders delivered what it need to do plus media control and censhorship that hide certain seeds of dissatisfaction.

Nothing is hidden in terms of local governance. And people, regular people, are often more concerned about their daily lives than some abstract, fairy ideas.

The question is not which system is good, but which system give chances. For example, the rise of Indonesian Jokowi from non-elites to President was made possible due to election in regional level. Whether his administration will deliver good governance or not is yet to be seen. But the chance is always there every 5 years.

Good for Indonesia. Every system is essentially rig-able.

In contrast what happened in China and North Korea is beyond the control of its ordinary people. Of course the Chinese will defend their own current political system because it has worked till now. But it is undeniable that their course of history could be that of North Korea's for it not the gang of four (and their influence) was purged in a political manoeuvring beyond their control. The then and current Chinese political structure do not have the system to prevent that.

Could have been, would have been. Results, my friend. Chinese system will produce what is required for the day and there is nothing beyond man's control over their own history. Being extremely assumption-prone is not good for a healthy debate. I might as well assume that the new president in Indonesia may turn a fascist out of voting polls in a few years, just how Turkish president, or, before him, many other fascists, emerged from election booths with overwhelming support. Remember, every system is rig-able, even those that are assumed to have checks-and-balances. Fascism can be made entirely legal.

That's why it is important to be result-oriented. Too much getting bogged down to past or future is sort of an backward country thing. I am not sure your country does well or not on that front.

The only vanguard to their current progress lies purely on the current leaders to ensure that the next do not betray their predecessors.

I agree. This guy somehow insists on linear thinking. Still, his acceptance that history did not actually end and there may be alternatives to Western ideology is encouraging. At least, he has certain intellectual honesty to accept that he may be wrong in his previous assumptions.

Yes, a comparative analysis of development between your country and China does indeed show that you can perfectly recognize your problem and solve them while China cannot move an inch. Seriously who in the earth does really care about the problems you may have in Indonesia? Nothing much in the international media over the raping of the land due to massive mining, or the defrostration? No news of mass corruption and nepotism? No news of bad air quality and low living standards?

On the other, we can daily follow the air quality in China on the largest Western media. You see? You are not even considered worthy of mention for one reason or another.

And Hu Jintao's rise from no name Tsinghua student to President was possible because of his *choice* in joining the Construction Bureau of Gansu province - one of the poorest in the country. There is an individual choice you can make at all times - to join the elite, if you want, and are willing to pay the price.

And what was Jokowi's campaign financing? Who contributed to it? Is he an elite, or rather a spokesman of the elite? That's the question.

Social mobility - it matters not if you can choose which others to become elites, only that you yourself are not denied the chance by birth.

She has very high intellectual capability , as well as vast understanding of military equipment and policies, actually. I just don't like your side comment to her , which i found very distasteful for a gentleman to say. I'm only asking you to show some respect , at least, because she's a lady.

I'm not the one acting condescending to others. I didn't say anything insulting did I? I told her to check her reading comprehension - if you think this is insulting, then you cannot graduate high school without being insulted, since my teachers would say that to me all the time.
