From Bangladesh to Balochistan

Nobody here is dreaming about United Pakistan here. Our economy is bad not because of warfare but because of bad economic policies, bad governance.I just can't want to see END of WOT so our economy can recover.I just don't know where you got the idea from that Pakistanis want to see United Pakistani again..?

To be honest,I only found some Bangladeshis talking about United Pakistan again. Most of the Pakistanis I have come across, does repent for 1971 but does not talk about reunification.
I think they understand that this is the only best way for us.We should move on and build better relation in terms of economy and also in defence.
I say yes to Bangladesh-Pakistan friendship/brotherhood.But NO to reunification. Both of us have enough problems to deal with.

I second that Sir :agree:

i have read some words from hakim muhammad muhammad said's biography(a reknowned philanthropist) and he says that

"there were millionaire 20 family who became a thousand families, and these familes have hijacked the entire pakistani nation(talking about feudalism)"

i know 1971 incident could have been prevented, if we had not disintegrated on communal base and hadn't become a tool of other enemies who wanted pakistan ideologically be razed into the ground. if we had struggled long before this incident for a better pakistan, together as one nation, then we would have seen a prosperous pakistan miles ahead of korea, japan china. how shamelessly we are behind india in terms of growing economy, which indeed rooted the hatred among us.
we have to move on any how.

but as a pakistan i must say, we must and have to learn this lesson which we haven't since 1971 before its too late, and struggle for our future.
It was not the 'other enemies' that had created discord between the two wings of Pakistan in 1971. It was the west pakistani civil-military-political elites who are responsible for a military crackdown in Dhaka and other places that had decided the separation.

With all the political jargons, there was not a single Bangali who uttered "Pakistan Murdabad" for the fear of being castigated as an Indian agent. But, after the crackdown and the subsequent killing by the Punjabi troops everybody started to shout that slogan.

Had the govt of Pakistan really learned from 1971 event, it would not have then indulged in the act of depriving the Balooch people. Voices of these people are not heard at the decision making level of the govt of Pakistan. So, their leaders meet Indian agents in Kabul, they are so desparate.

On the contrary, no one can claim that any Bangali leader conspired with India before the '71 crackdown. West pakistani leaders forced us to get Indian help by putting guns at our heads. The would-be-Prime Minister of Pakistan was arrested and hooliganism was started by the Pakistan army.

When Ayub Khan seized the State power in 1958 citing the wrongdoing by the politicians, it was the beginning of demise of an united Pakistan. A democratic constitution was not written by that time. A few years before, when Mohammed Ali Bogra of east pakistan was the PM, he proposed a system whereby the central Pakistan govt would be ruled by leaders from both wings. He proposed if the PM is from west, then the President shall be from the east.

There were four heads of State or govt from east Pakistan, all were democratic minded. Even we people agreed to the principle of parity, although we were a majority.

But, all his goodwill gestures were shown cold shoulder, and today, as a result of hunger for power by the military generals of Pakistan, the country has been divided into two. It is not India who did it, it was west pakistan that did it.

However, I, after 37 yrs, do not personally regret that BD is separate from the west. Both of these two countries should now try to forge a good relationship and help each other in times of needs.

.
eastwatch do you believe in united India ? just wana know your opinion.

Coming to the topic in the thread Baluchistan is the gate way to Central Asia so Pakistan has to save it on all cost.
The country Pakistan (east & west) was not formed in one day. There were many ups and downs, there were many twists of events before this country was formed. Sometime in the early 40s, there were demands by the Indian Muslim leaders to have an united India with the two wings of the would be Pakistan as autonomous regions. Delhi was supposed to be the federal Capital. Pundit Nehru and other Hindu leaders rejected this formula. As a result of this rejection, a fully independent Pakistan movement was further bolstered.

Now, if it is a newly formed united India, then its form is supposed to be what I have said above. However, this scenerio will neither be accepted by India nor by Pakistan/BD. As a substitute, India just wants two weak countries as its neighbours. It wants both the countries be ruled by some puppets of India. Economically and militarily the neighbours would look like a snake, but they will not have any poison teeth that can bite India.

This is why a kind of Balooch movement and anti-Govt Taleban activities can be noticed in Pakistan. There are two different Taleban groups. One group, who is fighting in Afghanistan, is supported by Pakistan. But, the other group led by the Mehsudis is fully funded and sponsored by the Indians. All these are ploys to bifurcate Pakistan and make all the resulting entities to be so weak so that these will remain subservient to India.

In a situation like this, Pakistan must play its game less with military power and more with MAGZ. It is irrelevant what an ordinary person like me wishes for, but much of the Muslim political future in the sub-continent depends upon what those stone-headed Punjabis and Pathans do. It seems, by opting for head on collissions, they will destroy Pakistan, and as a result the entire Muslim community in the sub-continent will suffer.

Once Pakistan is dealt with such a physical blow, BD will become very helpless at the diplomatic onslaughts by India.

Please read the news how Talebans are destroying primary schools. Hope, Talebans are not taught by HINDU teachers to do such a heinous thing.

One of the most important tasks is to identify wther they are Taliban or foreign funded Northern alliance people?

@Eastwatch: we are on a same note to accept that India wants 2 weak neighbors than I certainly cant understand why we think that its only Pakistan which is our country or only Bangladesh is your country? Fine enough now you have got more autonomy to make your decisions( I would not call it independence b/c today is your independence day as well) but with the same level of autonomy which you are enjoying right now, why not cooperate and fulfill the dream which we both had seen 69 years ago? Why should Muslim-subcontinent have boundaries?Cooperation with Pakistan is not against your national interests. Why do you think we have separate visions?

Reunification is a possibility also by remaining independent and I see no reason why should we not go for it. It is our moral duty to heal the wounds of the people who got affected by the sad incidents of 1971.

Reunification doesn’t mean that we should influence each other. We can have no visa/passport restrictions and joint defense; there is no harm in it. Do you people see any harm in it?

Bro Salman,

Only the finest heart can have such profundity of understanding but don't preach it at us because we aren't worth of it. Buoyed by nationalism and misguided by RAWAMY propaganda, we wouldn't find enlightenment, so don't invite us on your journey of purification. We weren't at the core of Iqbal's dream anyway, so why wasting time on us, Bengalis? Let us get drawned under water but don't cry for fools like us. You better look friends in central Asia and Kashmir.

Eastwatch,

Einstein once said, “Great spirit always been encountered by the violent opposition from their mediocre minds". After reading your posts regard Bangla-PAK related discords and its continuous but mediocre parody, I've decided to ask you re-educate yourself (Please) about this subject. Starting with the book called " Polashi theke Ekattor" and "Amar Dekha Rajnitir Panchash Bashar" would be good for you. Then find out how foreign spies formed six points through state bank, fanned in fire and read Roadrunner posts in History thread about BD-PAK, here in defence PK, thanks. Here is one,

http://www.defence.pk/forums/military-history/8639-disproving-some-genocide-claims.html

The following is another. Please read ask, Munshi Bhai's posts, thanks..

http://www.defence.pk/forums/military-history/20918-separation-east-pakistan-1971-a.html

And this one is an important one as Roadrunner explains the rational to RAWAMY traitorousness to the death...

http://www.defence.pk/forums/milita...eague-not-allowed-form-government-1971-a.html

Finally Munshi Vhai's scholarliness can be seen along with few others in the following one. Please take your time to raise the bar from stereo type/mediocre to enlightened one in this subject, thanks...

If the globe warming theory is correct then by the end of this century half of Bangladesh will be under water, so we should build sea walls to stop the sea water and let me tell you any west Pakistani after listening to this globe warming theory prays for our Bangladeshi brothers that it never happens in the future and we can stop it (InshAllah).
We will come to help our brothers when needed (as Iqbal said we all are one) but you know Bangladeshi youth has to stop hating Pakistan and that's one of the reasons Pakistan has stop taking Bangladeshi cadets for the last few years in their academies.

Better you read my posts minutely and learn. And do not preach me AGAIN to learn from those who taught you. Do you understand? I have my own mind and I do not accept advice from half-educated people. I have been asked by a fellow poster to say my opinion about something and I have answered to his request. But, why do you come in between us and preach me indecently? Never do it again. Learn some manner, an Islamic manner first. You are worse than a Hindu bigot.

one of the reasons Pakistan has stop taking Bangladeshi cadets for the last few years in their academies.

You sure about that, because I knew they still take Bangladeshi cadets and Pakistani cadets also come to BD for training.Exchange of knowledge.

Brother Eastwatch,

You've been active here and some of your posts are commendable others are not. I've just made efforts to help you out, that's all. If it hurts your ego then I'm sorry and I don't have any problem learning from anyone as I always do it. I've found out that you are stereo type regards 71s war, BD's creation, Pakistani's rule in it etc. So, I have tried to supply some materials to embolden your horizon.

I was in pain when I wrote it that's why my languages weren't that polite and I was sorry again for it. Anyway, "la kum dinu kum wal ya din" and remember extremist and bigots are relative words. I'm worse than Hindu bigots in what sense? Have I ever broken their temple or led riot to rape their women? Think again please before accusing someone with such attribute.

I have said you are worse than the Hindu bigots, because in your very first answer to one of my posts, you started with a word "LEARN----- " or something like this. Do you think it is a good way to ask anybody to do something? You do not have to utter the word 'Salam' in every post, but you have to respect a person's individuality and knowledge.

The way you start your post, it seems you live in a higher moral ground than others. It means you respect only yourself and you do not know how to pay respect to others. This is quite like Hindu bigots, who think they live above the sky, and so they have every reason to bully others.

Like you, I have also my own mind and own background. Everybody is an individual and each learn in his own way. You just cannot throw some trashes of political newspapers in front of a man and dictate him to "LEARN---."

Please refrain from doing this, because, it is a way of disrespecting an individual. When you do this, it is equivalent of saying a "No Salam" to that person, and it is a kind of Hindu bigotry. Respect others, and you will receive back the same.
