France interested in partnership with PAC

Hi,

The French did not leave us---we tried to scr-ew them---.

Yes they did - in a hurry. We had the plans to upgrade 50 thunders with Safran avionics and EW suite for almost a year after they had left. The then air chief is on record claiming that French had never left whereas they did silently.

Getting the French involved in any PAC would be an extremely grave mistake. There is a bigger game being played here. The French are not sincere to Pakistan and have sinister designs. You do not get your enemy involved in such projects.

The french are pure business men they have always played on both side by providing what ever was needed. So they are going to sell what they have. The only thing is some think that today they would not sell it as they have signed a contract. That paper document can not suspend the French from selling their products as they would slightly tweak them and offer as a completely new product.

NO western country or even a country that is close to western world should be allowed anywhere NEAR PAC. Only friendly countries such as China,Turkey etc. should be considered. Other countries can only co-operate on non-critical stuff such as PAC manufacturing parts for them etc. but no joint project and certainly nothing related to JF-17 or AZM.

French and other European countries should be welcome for anything related to helicopter production in Pakistan but as long as separate facilities are set-up for that.

Pakistan should not fall for this trap, france is trying to absorb the technology from JF-17 and use it in rafales.

Quite a funny comment, but why is the post missing?

Hopefully, SUPARCO will benefit from this end to end expertise. Looking forward to Pakistani satellite created with French help.

@Vergennes

It should be noted that the French have actually helped us consistently. From Mirage, to MRO of hot area engine harnesses in IDEAS 2016, now they may help in Space matters as well.

For JF-17, we should look for EW, ESM, and ELINT, hopefully with some sort of offset.
And hopefully there is a dedicated flight test centre with proper telemetry and test equipment. Nexeya is pretty good in that field.

The world is headed towards globalization, Just like brexit we can expect more countries in EU to dissolve into independent states. NEYXEA has nothing to gain from Pakistan's 3rd generation aeronautical complex but a lot to offer in terms of upgrading it & making some money off 220 million folks. Defence industries serve as a backbone for small nations, Lots of room for business.
