In US, the accused is not guilty until conviction in the court. So the Indian diplomat is not guilty, she is just charged. Its best that the Indian government hire the best lawyer to ensure that she has proper representation. Her chances of getting acquitted is much higher if she has a good lawyer. Again, look at OJ Simpson and we will see that anything is possible.
