In the whole episode, Pakistan indeed has played his cards poorly.
I believe, this is partially for the reasons that Pakistan as a state does not perform as one unit.
Establishment of military courts are clear hint that civil courts are not aligned with interests of Pakistan.

Pakistan is not only surrounded by enemies but their agents are part of our society.

Referring to OP video, clearly Indian officials can be seen talking politely, which is very unusual of Indian media.
They will surely restore to barking mode, after Pakistan elections, where they have already made investments in every party. Investments not necessarily means money, it may involve promises of jobs, US visa, etc.

How cross border firing episode ended, It should be clear to every Pakistani that only way to tame Indians is to treat them ruthlessly and such a doze must be administered on regular basis.
