After the war victory, the sri lankan government then headed by Mahinda Rajapakse gave an opportunity for former LTTE cadres to join the government and work towards rehabilitation and development of tamil people.

Then LTTE cadres who even killed many Sinhala civilians were also treated well by mahinda.
Vinayagamoorthy is one such person. Recently he gave a speech about Sri lanka's defence in parliament.

I dont have any side to begin with. I always praised good things done by MR....during his time his bad things overshadowed his good. But his good needs to be highlighted.

As he is out of power we can now highlight his good easily otherwise he l make himself an idiot if he was in power.

No matter how bad was Mahinda Rajapakse as SL President but ending the decades old civil war was his biggest contribution for his country which should be admired. Credit should go to him If SL is peaceful today.

Definitely, President Mahinda Rajapaksa will remain in annals of history as the leader that eliminated separatism and terrorism from the nation.. No patriotic Lankan will disagree with you

Also even though the video posted though not in clear English is more valuable to India than to current status of Lanka.. There is little chance of reigniting violent separatism on Lankan soil, But that possibility is very much alive in India according to Mr. Muralidhran who him self was trained and armed in India, And was the LTTE leader of the East of Sri Lanka and many others
