While I know many will not want to see DCS videos because they can give a false sense of what real aerial warfare is like, but the following video is of a former Rafale Pilot from the French Air Force. He may not reveal many or any tactics used, but perhaps observing his thought process can help give some insight into how Indian pilots and strategic planners are trained to use the Rafale.

Considering this the Military images sub-forum, I think this maybe the most appropriate section to share these DCS videos.

DCS is the closest public simulator you will get to reality, and that really shows when his skills work well

But I feel there was nothing special here, this kind of training in dogfights is given to all pilots. Maybe the high aspect attempts?

Secondly, India plans to use Rafale jets only as BVR machines, or at least that's what their narrative is.

I agree, they can use it as a BVR platform but it was primarily design for and the Indians have indicated its use as a nuclear delivery vehicle (using the ASMP) as well as a conventional strike platform.

back to the original topic; I figure something may come up on this guy’s channel which maybe telling; OSINT.
