If he can restructure the information ministry and make it better and effective by planning and strategizing then that's a job well done. It will benefit this Govt. but also any future govts. to come..just look how effective ISPR has become overtime..Likewise on civilian level..civilian institutions should also become more effective and efficient if have to survive in modern media warfare and information dissemination especially in light of alot of fake news going around..
Also Shibli Faraz although soft spoken is a PTI guy and a decent man. IMO he will be more pro-active in appearing on shows and presenting Govt. viewpoint etc. then just sitting in office or press-conference and giving tickers like Firdous Awan used to do..

In my opinion, this is a really bad precedence. This will enforce the preception of the revolving door between higher-ranking military postings and political positions.

Military higher-ups should keep away from politics or political posts for at least 5 years.

He was appointed, and of a surety that appointment wasn’t originally the decision or suggestion of any civilian leader.
