Masood Sharif Khattak joins PTI

ISLAMABAD: Former Director General of Intelligence Bureau (IB) Masood Sharif Khattak here on Friday announced his decision to join the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) along with his friends mostly belonging to his constituency NA-15, Karak.
I hereby formally announce to join the PTI to serve the masses under its flag and leadership of Imran Khan, he said this while addressing a news conference here. PTI Chairman Imran Khan was also present on the occasion.
Masood Sharif, who contested 2002-elections from his constituency NA-15, Karak, said there was a need to make collective efforts to steer the country out of crisis.
He expressed confidence that the PTI had the capacity to resolve problems of masses, adding that it would definitely come upto expectation of public especially youth after coming into power.
Imran Khan welcomed Masood Sharif in the party fold and invited the politicians having good repute in different parties to join the PTI, making it clear that corrupt elements would not be allowed to enter the party.
